By walking you until the main place of the village, you will cross often well renewed houses. Several former(old) doors are still present in the village, as the one that is situated near the Tower of Jas built in the XIV-th century. A fountain carries(wears) the name of the patron of the village, Marie Pierre d' Alcantra Goujon, who had bequeathed its Font Ségugne's castle on the tray(plateau) of Campbeau, in which was born the fébrilige, a literary movement widely spread(widened) in Provence.

Drawn over the ramparts, Gadagne's Châteauneuf is still protected with the vestiges of his feudal castle. Considered as the one from more beautiful of the province, it(he) was plundered and demolished during the Revolution. The former(ancient) ramparts remain still and are widely visible since the belvedere in front of the church Holy Jean Baptist. From there, it will be easy to discover the old village in downward through the charming streets and the paved alleys, loaded(charged) with past.
